ARTICLE 1 – IDENTITY OF THE DATA CONTROLLER

This Privacy Notice has been prepared by Omur Marin Denizcilik Hizmetleri Mümessillik Müşavirlik Limited Şirketi (“Omur Marin” or the “Company“), in its capacity as the Data Controller, pursuant to the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”).

* Our website is mainly used for information and promotion purposes. The Company does not use cookies, analytics tools or similar tracking technologies to analyze visitor behavior on the website. Within the scope of hosting and providing the technical infrastructure of the website, certain traffic/access records listed above may be processed by the hosting/service provider, without any direct intervention by the Company, in line with its obligations under Law No. 5651 on the Regulation of Publications on the Internet and Combating Crimes Committed through Such Publications.

In this respect, the Company does not have direct access to such records, does not regularly use them, and does not carry out any activity to analyze them. All activities detailed under the “Transaction Security / Server Logs” category in this Privacy Notice refer to activities that may be carried out by the relevant hosting/service provider without the Company’s direct intervention.

The transfer of the personal data of website visitors takes place solely within the borders of the Republic of Türkiye, and no transfer of such personal data abroad takes place.

ARTICLE 4 –METHOD OF COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

Personal data processed within the scope of the contact form is collected directly from the data subject in electronic form, by the completion of the relevant form fields. Website visitor data may also be collected automatically through server logs directly by the hosting/service provider.  

ARTICLE 5 –YOUR RIGHTS AS A DATA SUBJECT (ART. 11 OF THE KVKK)

Pursuant to article 11 of the KVKK, you may apply to Omur Marin regarding the processing of your personal data. To exercise your rights, you may submit your request to Omur Marin -including the minimum elements set forth in article 5 of the Communique on the Procedures and Principles for Application to the Data Controller– by one of the following methods:

1. In writing, by submitting a wet-ink signed petition by hand or by return receipt request to Koşuyolu Mah. Mahmut Yesari Cad. No: 45 İç Kapı No: 1 Kadıköy / İstanbul.
2. By sending an e-mail from the e-mail address registered in our system to kvkk@omurmarine.com

As a principle, your application will be concluded as soon as possible and within thirty (30) days at the latest, free of charge, without prejudice to the circumstance where the process requires an additional cost pursuant to Article 7 of the Communique. In the event that your application is rejected, the response provided is deemed insufficient, or no response is given to your application within the prescribed period, your right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Board is reserved.
